Although we would like to visit with a minimum of 20 participants, we know participation is difficult to predict. Contact Us and we’ll discuss any concerns about minimums.

Can the screening results be shared with the company?

What should I know about Screenings and Health Fairs?
Health screenings, as part of a health fair is a great way to help improve the wellness culture of your company. People need to understand that ultimately, the responsibility of their own health belongs to them. A health screening is a great anchor for a health fair or insurance signup event. Most health fairs take place in the Spring and Autumn. Health fairs in the Autumn usually include flu shot clinics as well. NW Wellness is the leader in low cost flu shots and health screenings. Even if your insurance pays for it, requesting NW Wellness will help the insurance companies keep their costs low as well.

Will insurance help with the cost?
Most insurance companies will pay for flu shot vaccinations. Many companies who have insurance such as Kaiser, will pay out of pocket, even though employees will get the vaccinations for free offsite. The reason is that even though it’s free, many employees are inconvenienced by the offsite visit. NW Wellness is registered with many health insurance providers. Give us a call and we can talk about it further.

How do I improve participation?
Some employees need some incentive to participate. Something as simple as a free health lunch can do it. Others are motivated by prizes, still others need a monetary inducement. Also, some Aflac policies will provide up to a $60 dollar reimbursement for any wellness or flu shot expense as an incentive to participate. Check your plans and make sure that such inducements are part of the advertising and marketing for a company health fair. Contact Us directly and we can talk about the details
